You will notice that these definitions exclude games because games are forms of entertainment following a set of artificial rules with a known goal to be reached. The goal of outdoor recreation is seeking that rush of fun often fed by adrenaline. It serves as an escape to nature. Gardening also take place in the outdoors but it is consider to be very tame and for the purpose of the beautification of the outdoors.
Hobbies and recreation are enjoyed by every age and by both genders. Many begin their hobby at an early age, while others find that they do not have time for hobbies or do not find their passion until later in life.
